She has grown so much and has become such a sweet and funny little girl who is full of joy. I'm so thankful I have the opportunity to stay home with her so I don't miss any of these moments. She keeps me laughing daily with all of her silly sounds (some I think daddy taught her), faces, and mannerisms. Her new thing, which we call "bobbing for paci" is to crawl on the carpet over to her paci and instead of picking it up with her hand she lowers her body so that she can pick it up with her month instead of her hand. I guess she likes the challenge :)
She has become quite the little cruiser and is into everything! I used to be able to get some work done in the office/playroom while she sat nicely and played with her toys but those days are gone! She no longer is interested in playing with her toys when she can get into boxes, play with paper and find every little thing that she is not supposed to have. So, I don't even try anymore.
She really wants to walk. She is pulling up on everything and even trying to push herself up to her feet from the sitting position. She can balance on one knee while trying to push herself up on the other leg but hasn't quite been able to get to the standing position. She will stand without holding onto anything for about 5-10 seconds and then falls back on her bum. She will walk holding onto something like her crib or table but that is about the extent of her walking. Now that she has felt the freedom of crawling wherever she wants, she is not crazy about playing in her pac-n-play for very long. She no longer wants to be contained :)
This month was full of Fall events. The weather didn't quite feel like it on some days but we were thankful for the days we did have that were beautiful and cool. Hannah's first fall event was at the church for the Family Fun Fair. We are thankful to be a part of a church that hosts such an awesome event for the community.
It was a little chilly that night so we got to break out our fleeces to make it feel a little more like Fall.
Hannah loved looking at all the lights and rides.
Even though it went on past her bed time, she still enjoyed watching the fireworks.
We thought we would see how she reacted to this character to give us a heads up for what she will do with Santa. She thought it was pretty funny and didn't seem to be fazed by it. So, we shall see what she does with Santa :)
We also went to the pumpkin patch and Hannah got to see some animals. She loves watching the cats and gets excited when they come near her so we thought she would really enjoy it. She was pretty sleepy that afternoon since she didn't nap well so she didn't have the reactions that we were expecting but I think overall she had a good experience at her first pumpkin patch :)
Daddy pushed her in the swing and she loved it!
Then she got to dress up as a kitten for Halloween. I wasn't sure how this would go over but she wore the costume like a champ without any complaints. She enjoyed playing with the bucket of candy and chasing the cats around. Guess she thought she was one of them. She tried to take them a piece of candy as a love offering but they didn't want anything to do with it.
This month she also got a new car seat. Such a big girl!
We went over to some friend's house for dinner and Hannah got to play with Gracie.
Hannah wanted to be a little more up close and personal than Gracie preferred.
